An elegant coffee table book, rendered that way by all the extraordinary artifacts that were gathered by noted blues guitarist Chris James and photographed by Todd Barnes (the British company that originally brainstormed the project licensed in many more amazing photos). There were more than 350 illustrations in all. I supplied the text as we covered sheet music, prewar race records ads, 78 labels, posters, LP covers, 8 x 10s, and more.
